BALTIMORE RAVENS CAPS GUIDE:
The Baltimore Ravens are one of the youngest teams in the NFL. Although the history of professional football in Baltimore dates back to 1953, when the Baltimore Colts were founded, after moving to Indianapolis in the years after 1983, the search for NFL football in Baltimore and Maryland was in vain. This only came back in the 90s after the then Cleveland Browns owner Art Modell had his team move to Baltimore due to differences with the city of Cleveland and fans. At that time the name Ravens, inspired by Edgar Allen Poe's poem "The Raven", prevailed in a fan voting, so that the Baltimore Ravens finally took part in the NFL game for the first time in the 1996 season under this name. The team colors of Baltimore are black, violet and metallic gold. Although the history of the Baltimore Ravens is short, it's a very successful one. The hard game style for which the Ravens are known and feared has earned them not only the nickname "Purple Pain", but also massive playoff participation since the foundation. The Ravens made it to the Super Bowl twice, winning both in 2000 and most recently in 2012. Probably the most popular and best Baltimore Ravens player of all time: Ray Lewis. His jersey can still be seen very often by Baltimore Ravens fans.
Baltimore Ravens Caps are only available in Europe from the New Era brand.
What types of caps and designs are there?

Which colors and logos are the most popular?
Since the Baltimore Ravens are a very young NFL franchise, the variation in historical logos is limited. After a winged badge with the Ravens lettering served as the logo in the first two years of existence, in 1999 the still consistent logo of a Rabens was introduced in the profile, which also adorns most Baltimore Ravens caps. The alternative logo, a sign that shows the Baltimore and Maryland flags and the letters B and R under the Ravens lettering, divided into four fields, is rarely available in Europe. Most fans have a classic, black Baltimore Ravens cap with the current purple standard logo.
Most popular caps:
- Sideline 5950 fitted cap
- Sideline 9Fifty Snapback Cap
- 59 Fifty Salute to Service Cap
- 9Forty The League Cap
- 9Fifty Draft Snapback Cap
Which cap shapes are the most popular?
Fitted caps (New Era 59fifty & 39thirty) are extremely popular with American football fans. The best-selling fitted caps of the Baltimore Ravens have the purple logo embroidered on the front. However, since fitted caps are not for everyone, we also offer Snapback (New Era 9Fifty) variants, which are particularly popular with old school fans. Special collections that can be seen on the NFL pitch, such as Salute to Service or the Sideline Caps by New Era, are also very popular with Baltimore Ravens fans. In the cold season, these collections also include the coveted sideline hats that keep you cool even in winter.
