Milwaukee Brewers Caps

Milwaukee Brewers Caps are not only for fans of the MLB team, but also for friends of beer. The logos often contain symbols from brewing beer - a tradition brought to Milwaukee by German immigrants.

The Milwaukee Brewers have over 50 years of history in baseball. Formed after a move from Seattle, they have been proving their competitiveness in Major League Baseball since 1970. To honor the city of Milwaukee and their longstanding brewing heritage, they adopted the name Brewers.

In your history, however, the great triumph of the World Series title has eluded you until now. Their best result of the season came in 1982 when, led by legendary Brewers players Rollie Fingers, Paul Molitor and Robin Yount, they got their first taste of the World Series. In a closely contested series, they lost to the St. Louis Cardinals 3-4 after games.

That was the last playoff series the Brewers had seen at Milwaukee County Stadium. For after that the crisis began, in which for years more season games were lost than won. In 2008, things were finally back on track. With a 90-72 record after the regular season, they were able to secure the WC ticket and open the door for postseason baseball again.

Since 2001, they have found a new home at American Family Field, in West Milwaukee near Interstate 94. The ball park can accommodate 41,900 enthusiastic fans. Due to the adverse temperatures in Wisconsin, the decision was made to build a ball park with a sliding roof. The special feature is that it is a fan-shaped convertible roof that can be closed in 10 minutes.

Even though the Brewers name is reminiscent of the ancient art of brewing beer, their Primary logo, which is featured on the on field hats, has a rather different reference. In the team colors of blue and yellow, the letters M and B are formed into a glove, in a blue circle framed by the team name.

Other popular motifs include the outline of Wisconsin, with the capital M in the center, or the large curved M, with the barleycorn directly below.

The jerseys of the Brew Crew, as the players are also called by their fans, are emblazoned with either the Milwaukee or Brewers lettering at chest level.

The big goal, the World Series title, has not yet been achieved. To make it happen in the future, the Brewers are relying on their minor league teams, the Nashville Sounds, Biloxi Shockers, Wisconsin Timber Rattlers and Carolina Mudcats.
