The New Orleans Saints was founded in 1966 and has been playing in the NFL since 1967. They got their name from the founding date on November 1, i.e. All Saints Day or All Saints Day, in the religious area around New Orleans, Louisiana and a jazz song that also contains the word Saints. They have been playing their NFL games in the Mercedes Benz Superdome since 1975, with New Orleans having to move to other stadiums in 2005 due to Hurricane Katrina and the damage to the stadium. The greatest success of the NFL team was winning the Super Bowl in 2010. This was made possible fundamentally by two people: Head Coach Sean Payton and Quarterback Drew Brees, both of whom came to the New Orleans Saints in 2006 and still work for the NFL team are active. New Orleans Saints Caps are currently only available in Europe from New Era.

Which colors and logos are the most popular?
With black, gold and white, the New Orleans Saints have very classic team colors that allow very nice combinations. Since joining the NFL, the New Orleans Saints logo has featured the Fleur de Lis, the French lily that shows the Louisiana region's ties to France. This logo was black and white until 1999, after which there were different shades of gold. As an alternative logo, a drawing of a Saints player with a golden helmet and a shield with the French lily has been used since 2009. There has also been a secondary logo since 2000 that shows the outline of the state of Louisiana, with a star marking New Orleans on the map and the black fleur de lis at the top. The most common color used in New Orleans Saints Caps is black with the lily in gold. The shield is rarely found on caps and the figure or the federal state as a logo is almost never seen on Saints Team Merch.

Saints fans also want to own the caps that the rookies wear at the NFL draft. In addition to 59Fifty caps, classic New Era 9Fifty snapbacks are also often bought.
